We get A LOT of questions about shipping, shipping methods, and all that jazz so we've decided to formulate this little blog post, to address the most frequently asked shipping related questions.

First things first …

What happened to the UK website?

As some of you may already be aware of, we NO longer have a UK website



YESS, that's right ..

The reasons for this are so

  1. we can better consolidate our stock in ONE location rather than TWO
  2. we can offer you all the SAME selection of products whether you're based in the USA, UK, CANADA or elsewhere around the world

What is the ETA for the locs?

This is definitely the most frequently asked question we get. 


Shipping time and time of arrival is almost 99% of the time dependant on the shipping method selected at checkout which you can read more of below.

We often get questions like the following:

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AFTER I PLACE MY ORDER FOR IT TO SHIP OUT?

HOW LONG DOES THE SHIPPING PROCESS TAKE?

You get the idea right?

All these questions are related to the processing time of an order before it goes on to being shipped. The processing time is the time it takes to process your order before it ships out to you. It involves our fulfilment centre labelling packages, ensuring that the correct locs are packaged and generally looking out for your locs.

In other words, this is also the time between you placing your order and the order being shipped out.

The longest processing can take is 72 hours. BUT this is VERYYY rare

On average the processing time usually ONLY takes 24 hours

OK, so when working out the ETA (estimated arrival time) you NEED to make sure you factor in the processing time as well how long shipping the locs to you will take.

Your order WILL NOT ship out the moment you place the order nor will it necessarily ship out 2 hours after you place the order. For most orders, packages will ship out after 24 hours have passed. The only exception is our overnight shipping which usually ships out after a few hours.

Please note that if an order is placed on the weekend, it WILL NOT be seen nor begin processing until Monday morning 7am when our fulfilment center is open. And again, any orders that come through after 5pm will not begin processing until 7am the following morning.

All our orders are shipped directly from Michigan, USA.

This where our fulfilment center who handles all our packages is based.

Our fulfilment center’s working hours are:

MON – FRI
7AM – 5PM EST time 

What shipping methods do we offer?

OK let’s swiftly move onto clarifying our shipping methods.

ALL shipping takes however many days it takes. These are BUSINESS DAYS!

So please ladies don’t be counting Sunday when your tryna work out when your locs will reach you.

Okay?!

Oh but Saturday IS included as a business day. But this often varies dependent on the city and your post office.

We have broken our shipping methods down into 4 parts.

Shipping methods for USA customers, Canadian customers and the UK and around the world customers. 

USA SHIPPING METHODS
USA Standard Shipping (3 - 7 business days)
USPS Priority Shipping (2 - 5 business days)
USPS Express Shipping (1 - 2 business days)
FedEx Standard Overnight (delivery by 3pm next day. Order by 12pm) 

UK & EU DELIVERY METHODS
Asendia ePacket Standard (7 - 21 business days)

SPS First Class (7 - 10 business days) 
Fed Ex Express (4 - 6 business days) 
Fed Ex Priority (1 - 3 business days)

CANADA SHIPPING METHODS
Asendia ePacket Standard

FED EX ECONOMY SHIPPING (4 - 6 business days) 
FED EX PRIORITY SHIPPING (1 - 3 business days)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING METHODS

*Please note that these ETA's (estimated arrival times) are only estimated/approximate times/days and not guaranteed days. These estimated arrival times/days are based solely on the information provided by the delivery provider i.e. USPS, FedEx, Asendia, all which can also be found on their official website.

Because of this we would always highly recommend that you plan ahead and order your locs with sufficient time before your hair appointment for instance.

Next .. 

What about tracking numbers?

Tracking numbers do not come out until 24 hours AFTER the order has been placed. Basically how it works is, once the order is fully processed the tracking number will usually be emailed to you. 

Please check your spam for these emails as on more than one occasion, customers don't see their confirmation email nor an email with their tracking as it sits in their junk/spam folder.
