Since bringing the virtual festival to your living rooms, the Boho Team have gotten into the spirit of slaying at home.
Boho Locs very own, Annona a.k.a. Customer Service Angel, channeled bohemian vibes with a short and sweet tutorial.
She shows us easy yet stunning ways to style and dress-up your locs, using head wraps and accessories. Featuring black-owned tropical braid and loc jewellery from @mali.pah.
We've found dressing up for ourselves can be a fun distraction from current circumstances, and Annona let's us in with how she's been slaying at home.
'I loved getting into the festival vibes. The most fun is always had getting ready, even when you have somewhere to go. Music on, wine poured, painting your face while pretending to be Beyonce in the mirror, getting ready is part that gets you excited for the night ahead... even if the night is in your living room.
I enjoyed adding accessories to my Locs! The Locs are unique in themselves, but adding accessories is like the cherry on top. I can add as many or as little as I like, anywhere i like! This part is all about my creativity.'
We had to get the low down on how well she's maintaining her locs 🔥...
'If I’m honest, I don’t usually do much with my locs. At the start of quarantine I was wearing hot fudge and I’ve now changed my locs, because I still want to look cute even if it’s just to take selfies!
I have Mermaid Locs in at the moment so to make sure they are looking on point and fresh, I use A VO5 mousse, a serum and eco style max hold gel.'
Annona has been using her down time wisely and decided to get creative with adding different styles into the mix to create the style you see in the video. She tells us 'I'm a bit of a cocktail at the moment', Hot Fudge, mixed with Bey Blonde, with a touch of Lit, and Be Blonder (limited edition style).
Combining different styles together is the ultimate way to never get bored of your Boho Locs, as there's so many ways to switch it up as Annona proves.
