No — Silk Locs are made for a single install and aren't designed to be removed and reinstalled. (If re-wearing the same set matters to you, our Beach Locs are built for exactly that.)
How long can I wear them?
Most customers wear Silk Locs comfortably for up to 12 weeks per install.
Can I wash, swim, or work out in them?
Yes — they're water-friendly. Wash and condition them while installed, and swim and work out freely. Just don't sleep on them damp, and handle the ends gently to keep them sleek.

Yes — going in with healthy, hydrated hair is the goal with any protective style. Deep condition beforehand, then, before you braid down into your cornrow base, moisturise and seal with an oil or a light butter. The install guidance walks you through it.
Are these a good first loc set?
Honestly, no — these are better for experienced wearers. The sleek, straight ends need gentle handling and a little more upkeep than a textured style, so if it's your very first set, a wavier style like Goddess or Beach is an easier place to start. If you've worn faux locs before and want a bold fashion look, Silk Locs are for you — pre-looped, with step-by-step guidance included.
