Do I have to use the wavy hair?
No — the wavy "mermaid" hair is completely optional. Wear the braids alone for a subtle, understated look, or add the waves for extra softness and movement. The braids are the reliable, reusable core; the waves are a customisable extra.
How do I keep the loose wavy hair from tangling?
Handle it gently and don't over-manipulate it — the loose synthetic wavy hair is single-use and tangles more than the braids. Keep it separated while installing, and refresh with a light mousse. If low-maintenance matters most to you, wear the braids on their own.
Are the braids reusable?
Yes — the braid portion is designed to be removed and reinstalled with proper care. (The optional wavy hair isn't
reusable.)
How long can I wear them?
Most customers wear them comfortably for up to 12 weeks per install, depending on maintenance and lifestyle.
Can I wash, swim, or work out in them?
Yes — the braids are water-friendly and hold up to washing, swimming and workouts. Just let them dry fully after water, and don't sleep on them damp.

Do I need to prep my own hair first?
Yes — going in with healthy, hydrated hair is the goal with any protective style. Deep condition beforehand, then, before you braid down into your cornrow base, moisturise and seal with an oil or a light butter. The install guidance walks you through it.
First time installing?
You've got this — the braids are pre-looped and beginner-friendly, with step-by-step guidance included. Install on a cornrow base at home or with a stylist. (The optional wavy hair is an extra step you can skip your first time.)
How many packs do I need?
One pack is a full head for this style, with face-framing layers included. If you like a denser, fuller look, some customers add a second pack.
